Call to Order:
The December 16, 2021 meeting of the Mainville Sportsmen’s Club was called to order by President Denny Jaskiewicz at 7:00 p.m., followed by a moment of silence and the Pledge of Allegiance. Nineteen members and one guest were present.
Approval of Meeting Minutes:
Secretary Lingousky read the minutes of the November 18, 2021 meeting. A motion was made by Mike Romig and seconded by Neal DeLuca to approve the minutes as read. The motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report:
Treasurer Hunsinger reported all Club expenses and deposits since the November 18, 2021 meeting. A motion to approve the report was made by Rod Bardo and seconded by Ed Bergen. The motion carried.
President’s Report:
President Jaskiewicz reported that the Club lost long time member Bill Lathrup to COVID complications recently. Bill’s many contributions to the Club and the Cowboy Committee over the years were noted.
Denny also reported that electricians were contacted regarding installing “down-range warning” lights and they will be quoting the job in the near future.
Committee Reports:
Practical Pistol committee reported 10 shooters
Steel Challenge committee reported 11 shooters

New Business:
There was a proposal to install a voice-activated system at the trap house so that it requires fewer people to operate it. A quote and specific funding request will be brought to the membership at the next meeting.
Jim Cunningham reported that the grounds committee reviewed camera footage and gate records to investigate the intentional use of shotguns to destroy the target stands in the pistol pits. The investigation determined that member A604 -25269, Matthew Titter, was responsible. Such behavior is in violation of Club by-laws, range rules, and posted signage. Bill Calkins made a motion that member A604 be expelled from the Club per Club by-laws, Ed Bergen seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Secretary Lingousky will send a letter to the expelled member as per Club by-laws.
Good and Welfare of the Club:
Due to popular demand, there will be a January meeting (weather permitting). Jim Cunningham agreed to do the January dinner.
