Call to Order:
The August 17, 2023 meeting of the Mainville Sportsmen’s Club was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with a moment of silence and the Pledge of Allegiance. Seventeen members and guests were present.
Approval of Meeting Minutes:
Secretary Lingousky read the minutes of the July 20. 2023 meeting. A motion was made by Scott Neuhard and seconded by Donna Romig to approve the minutes as read. The motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report:
Treasurer Felegie presented the Treasurer’s report for August. A motion to approve the report as presented was made by Ken Hall, seconded by Rod Bardo. The motion carried.
President’s Report:
None
Committee Reports:
Falling Steel: 6 shooters
USPSA first shoot had 10 shooters
Introduction of New Members:

Old Business:
By mutual agreement our mowing contract with Meadowbrook landscape was terminated and Ken Webb will now be doing the mowing for the rest of the season. Price per mowing is approximately the same as for Meadowbrook.
New Business:
Garry Marr requested and received permission to rent the Clubhouse on Saturday, August 3, 2024 for the 3rd annual All Hands Muster event.
Secretary Lingousky agreed to send a reminder to all Club members and to Tom Austin at the Press Enterprise that the Firearms familiarization and personal protection course will be held September 2, 2023.
Good and Welfare of the Club:
Member Ken Hall reported that he would like to look into the Club becoming a CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program) affiliated Club. Bill Keiser stated that he has information that he would forward to Ken.
Ken Hall also volunteered to do the September dinner
