Old Business:
Mike Romig reported that the pit expansion project is complete. We need stone and/or millings on the bare dirt. Millings are currently available in Mifflinville for $300 / tri-axle load delivered. We believe that 20 tri-axle loads are needed. On a motion by Bill Romig, seconded by Ken Hall, the expenditure of $6000 to obtain 20 loads of millings was approved. Mike Romig took the action item to order the millings.
Regarding handicap parking at the rifle range, we have to add dirt and/or millings to create a better parking area due to the steep slope.
New Business:
Mike Romig reported he would like to dig a ditch around the perimeter of the new pits and fill them with stone for drainage. Mike Felegie took an action item to borrow a mini excavator that Mike Romig can use to dig the aforementioned ditches.
Secretary Lingousky reported that we are waiting for a quote on hydro-seeding the new berms. Both Valley Seeding and Rhoads Farm were contacted for quotes. Seeding can’t be done until spring.
VP Gerry reported that our booth at the Early Bord Expo in January has been reserved. Jim Cunningham, Mike Romig, and Gerry will man the booth. Anyone who can spare a couple of hours to assist in manning the booth as asked to contact Gerry. John Stortzum will work with Gerry, et al on new video for the booth.
