Call to Order:
The May 18, 2023 meeting of the Mainville Sportsmen’s Club was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with a moment of silence and the Pledge of Allegiance. Twenty four members and guests were present.
Approval of Meeting Minutes:
Secretary Lingousky read the minutes of the April 20. 2023 meeting. A motion was made by Billy Romig and seconded by Jim Cunningham to approve the minutes as read. The motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report:
Treasurer Felegie read the Treasurer’s report for May. A motion to approve the report as presented was made by Rod Bardo, seconded by Gary Fetzer. The motion carried.
President’s Report:
Reminder of the Pro-am shoot this weekend.
Committee Reports:
Cowboy: 9 shooters
Falling Steel plus steel Challenge: 20 shooters
Practical Pistol: 12 shooters
Skeet and Trap: need clays
Introduction of New Members:
The following new members were approved:

Old Business:
Voting on the proposed new by-laws took place. Two members who had not voted at last month’s meeting voted to approve the changes. Zero opposed. Third and final voting will be in June.
Rod Bardo reported that he mowed some of the lawn since the Club’s mowing contractor had not yet done so. Secretary Lingousky took the action item to contact Meadowbrook Landscaping and tell them to mow ASAP.
New Business:
None.
Good and Welfare of the Club:
Rich Pyott volunteered to do June meeting dinner.
Mel Bardo announced that she has for sale tickets to a gun raffle that benefits the EOS riding center, which serves veterans and the disabled.
