Call to Order:

The September 15, 2022 meeting of the Mainville Sportsmen’s Club was called to order by President Denny Jaskiewicz at 7:00 p.m., followed by a moment of silence and the Pledge of Allegiance.  Thirty  members and guests were present.  

Approval of Meeting Minutes:

Secretary Lingousky read the minutes of the August 18, 2022 meeting.  A motion was made by Jim Cunningham and seconded by Linda Snyder to approve the minutes as read. The motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report:

In Treasurer Hunsinger’s absence, Secretary Lingousky read the Treasurer’s report for September. A motion to approve the report as presented was made by Ed Bergen, seconded by Donna Romig. The motion carried.

President’s Report:

President Jaskiewicz reported that the gate computer has been fixed and is back in service.  He also reported that the food plots have been planted in the perimeters of several ranges.

President Jaskiewicz then read a letter of resignation submitted by Treasurer Hunsinger. The resignation was accepted with gratitude and appreciation for Karen’s contributions to the Club over many years.

Committee Reports:  

Steel committee reported 15 guns at their shoot.

Steel Challenge: 14 shooters.

Buffalo rifle: 13 shooters.

Practical pistol: 6 shooters

Rod Bardo reported $108 turned in from skeet and trap.

Introduction of New Members:
The following 4  new member applications were approved with no abstentions:

George Fisher –A1167-00465

Andrew Hundley – A1168-00466

Barbara Crowley- A1169-00467

Brett Bower – A1170-00468

Old Business:  

Denny reported that the down range warning light project is waiting for a formal quote.

New Business:

Jim Cunningham requested and received permission to cut saplings at the rear of the Clubhouse.

Rich Pyott requested and received permission to rent the Clubhouse on Saturday, May 20, 2023.

Gary Marr requested and received permission to rent the Clubhouse on Saturday, August 5, 2023.

There being no further business to discuss, on a motion to adjourn by Bill Hunsinger, the meeting adjourned at 7:17 p.m.
